I recorded login and played it back and it failed. What did I do wrong?

Pleae don't shoot the messenger: You forgot to log out!

This is the most common complaint we hear: That a recorded login doesn't work immediately. It's natural enough...you start your recording, eValid tracks everything you do and creates a script and then you stop want to see if it works. But what's forgotten is that that you are still logged in!

Sometimes, if you exit eValid and restart it, that will kill the state of "being logged in." But not always.

Accordingly, you should:

(1) Remember to record logging out when your test recording includes logging in.

or

(2) Start your recording AFTER you have logged in (and remember not to log out).
