not able to generate precisely no log charts instances but in past errors here usually/typically due to some variants of the following:
- non-existent JRE. You need to have the Java JRE installed.
- a DEMO feature key. This is a license limitation, so you need to
obtain at least an EVAUTO/EVAL license key; please contact licenses
for this.
- JRE may be found on the PC but it is not associated correctly
with the browser, i.e. Internet Options->Advanced Setting must
have the Sun JRE and/or Microsoft VM equivalents enabled inside
the browser.
- the evg.exe, applet executable is somehow corrupted or not
available/accessible. You may need to re-download
- Read/Write permissions on your files. You will need to give eValid
enough permission to do its work.
- The necessary -E/-T/-M/-P.log files are never generated. Can
be due to permissions or they can reside in an unexpected place,
like eValid's local file management. For this please see:
Settings->Record/Play Prefs->Project/Log Management
(options under the "Log Management" section UNCHECKED/Disabled.)
- If the Java logo appears showing evidence that it is trying to
use our evg Applet to open the necessary log charts then it may
issues with I/O and/or environment processings, not enough RAM,
files not where expected, etc. Make sure you have enough
horsepower on your PC to run the Java Applet.
Let us know how it goes.
The eValid Team.
