There are lots of performance charts in the eValid system and you don't specify which one, so the answer will assume you mean the charts that arise from various forms of the EventLog file.

In all cases, the charts are implemented a Java Applets that read their data from the formatted EventLog files. The Applets know the format of the file, so they extract the key data (starting times, elapsed times, names of pieces of a page, total times, and command line number, etc.) from the file and put them directly in the chart.

You're not supposed to do this, and we don't guarantee results if you do, but the EvenLog files are all text files and are very easy to edit. If you edit the file you can redraw the chart based on your edited file just by clicking on the chart icon.
