What does it mean when eValid tells me in the EventLog "Encountered script error..."

When you see that eValid is telling you that some internal JavaScript (or VBscript, or ECMAscript) pogram has thrown an exception.

(Note that this is NOT an eValid script/command error.)

In the regular IE browser most of the "script errors" that happen are ignored, but because eValid is supposed to be a quality assurance engine the right thing to do is to report these to you.

If you own the page where the error was exposed, then you can fix the problem yourself. But many times that's not possible, because the error arisee from a page that is supplied by someone outside your organization. In any case, while you may not be able to "fix" such a problem, at least you do know about it.
