Yes, that's true.
The GUI that eValid presents to the user includes control of almost every important type of function that is needed to create a reliable recording, one that will play back without needing any manual modifications.
This includes things like handling FLASH or SilverLight or Java objects, incorporating AJAX synchronization steps, and even includes establishing DOM-based validations that can do a "deep dive" into the innards of a web page to confirm correct playback behavior.
We estimate that 99% of recorded tests work reliably if they are recorded wisely. [All bets on this are off if you're not at least reasonably conversant with eValid's commands and operation and, perhaps more important, with the operation of the web application under test.]
