Help with a Print function requirement in the test

Postby JLippe » Tue Mar 01, 2016 9:24 am

Morning.

What does eValid do about a test for a "Print Now" operation on a web page?

Hope you can give some help on the matter.

Thanks

Thanks for asking JLippe.

Usually, if the user types "control-P" or clicks on a "Print this page" button somewhere on the web page, that results in a message that appears on your desktop screen as a "modal dialog".

It's modal because the machine waits for a user interation with the desktop to handle the required response.

Here is the short description of how Modial Dialog support works on eValid:

To be honest, this can be tricky because you have to program the script in a very primitive way.

But it works.

Here is a page with additional "hints" that may be of interest:

Let us know if we can help further!
