Help make my test scripts as bulletproof as possible

How to apply eValid to functional testing of web applications.

Help make my test scripts as bulletproof as possible

Postby AnthonyC » Mon May 01, 2017 1:16 pm

Afternoon.

Do you have any guidelines for making a test script as resilient to changes in my web application as possible?

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

Thanks for asking AnthonyC and we understand the need for some input here.

If you build a script that you want to continue to run automatically -- as in monitoring another website -- then you want it to be as strong as possible, so that it gives you results in a wide range of conditions.

Here is a page that summarizes our recommendations on this:

If you want to send us your script outline -- or even your script itself -- we can help you by applying these rules on a case by case basis.
