Not that this is news to anyone, but making a recording reliably is MUCH harder than getting the scrip to play back correctly.
We thin eValid's recording engine is the best one ever -- well, that is natural enough, right? -- but it has limitations we we know that it is not 100% perfect.
We had to make some design and implementation decision and that inevitably leads to web applications that are rather tricky to record correctly.
For us, it normal that a certain amount of script editing to achieve playback perfection is OK.
If the recording engine does 98% of the work, why, that's a big saving.
But, we do have some advice:
