How to apply eValid to functional testing of web applications.

Your software was easily capable of handling a majority of tasks however
with the citrix environment we utilize made it difficult to program and
required constant changes due to screen size and location. Also due to
the nature of the software and the lack of technical expertise of our
team, it would be difficult at best to teach to the other members. This
was a requirement my leadership had for any software we would
potentially use as they do not want just one person using a program as
that person could become ill and would slow down any project processes
we had in place.

I appreciate the trial you provided and believe that for a majority of
other applications out there your software would more than meet the
needs if not exceed them but due to the nature of our work we cannot
justify it at this time.

Thank you again for the Trial and your time.

Thanks for the explanations.

Truth is, it's Citrix that's getting in the way, it seems to me.

Once you have Citrix as the barrier from the application to the user
the mechanization HAS to be at the desktop level, and Citrix
further defeats mechanization by only providing "images".

Frankly, I don't know of ANY technology that would easily record/play
off a Citrix screen any easier than eValid -- and we readily admit
that we have used very simple record/play primitives.

You never did say if the underlying application was web browser
based? For it is is, then an RDC to a machine running the application
native would be a whole different matter...then eValid would
easily show off its ability to "understand" the web browser information.

So, you seem to be boxed in, sorry to say by contraints not
of your making. Sorry about that...

When you come across a web browser enabled application that
you actually can use directly, please think of eValid....All
of the features that you really never got to use will make
the job of testing that kind of app as simple as 1, 2, 3...
