Can eValid work with desktop apps?

Hi:

How eValid works for web is really cool, but can eValid also handle desktop applications like "WordPad"

Yes, you can test desktop-only applications with evalid using the application mode feature combined with the desktop mode feature.

Here is a worked example of Testing Wordpad:

The key action here is to use an eValid command to launch the WordPad application so that it can be tested "clean".

(It is generally good practice to always start a test in a known application or to somehow make sure that the application under test has returned to the same starting point. Otherwise you test may FAIL.)

You use the F12 and/or the Ctrl-F12 to toggle in and out of application mode and desktop modes, as described here:
