How eValid works for web is really cool, but can eValid also handle desktop applications like "WordPad"
Thanks for posting GraceR.
Always happy to hear from a pleased user!
Yes, you can test desktop-only applications with evalid using the application mode feature combined with the desktop mode feature.
Here is a worked example of Testing Wordpad: http://www.e-valid.com/Products/Documen ... rdpad.html
The key action here is to use an eValid command to launch the WordPad application so that it can be tested "clean".
(It is generally good practice to always start a test in a known application or to somehow make sure that the application under test has returned to the same starting point. Otherwise you test may FAIL.)
You use the F12 and/or the Ctrl-F12 to toggle in and out of application mode and desktop modes, as described here: http://www.e-valid.com/Products/Documen ... .mode.html http://www.e-valid.com/Products/Documen ... .mode.html
