How to use internal timer?

Postby mabe » Wed Mar 18, 2009 10:05 am

I am trying to put timers into my script and it says to select the reset
timer command, then after I navigate Im to select the elapsed time command;

however, I do not see an elapsed time command in my drop down. Is this
because I'm using an evaluation copy? Also, can you specify a name for
the timer? We are looking at this tool for performance testing and need to
be able to specify the different timers so we can tell what is doing what.

Thanks in advance for your assistance.

Here are some responses...

* Here is how to use the eValid internal timer facility to measure
how long one or a set of commands takes, as described here:

http://www.e-Valid.com/Products/Documentation.9/Technical/script.html#timing

* These commands are available from the eValid GUI as described here:

http://www.e-Valid.com/Products/Documentation.9/GUI/GUI.html#timer

* Here are the detailed instructions for use of the SaveRecord command,
which outputs in-progress test data to an external file:
