How to parameterize values in scripts?

Postby mabe » Wed Mar 18, 2009 10:15 am

Sorry to keep bothering you.... I have a question about parameterization
for loadtests.... is there any documentation on how to parameterize values
in scripts, such as user names and passwords? I can't seem to find
anything on the website about this. Any info you have would be greatly
appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

No problem...

* The eValid string substitution facility -- used in both functional
testing AND in server load creation -- is described here:

http://www.e-Valid.com/Products/Documentation.9/Technical/strings.html

* Here's a diagram of this process:

http://www.e-Valid.com/Products/Documentation.9/Support/script.expansion.html

* In eValid server loading if you want to modify each separate user for
different parametric values, e.g. user name and password, here is
a page that shows how to do this.

http://www.e-Valid.com/Products/Documentation.9/Loading/load.html

Hope this helps...
