Hi,

We're running several eValid scenarios in parallel and often get an error message saying we need a MULT license to be able to run more than 2 instances of eValid at the same time.

The problem is that we have a MULT license. The licenses we actually have are : PROF MULT GEN BATCH PAGEMAP. eValid is version 9 build #286.

In some situations, about 4 or 5 scripts can run simultaneously. The MULT problem is random as it works fine most of the time. But, when it happens, the messagebox blocks the eValid instance displaying it until we manually click on the OK button. This is of course a problem as the eValid scenarios are running on a computer that is not being monitored all day long.

We applied most of the advices found in the "Monitoring Mode Usage Recommendations" page.

Can you please advice?
Thanks!

We have heard of this issue and we are studying it.

Yes, the error does throw a modal popup and yes, you do have to
dismiss it manually.

We think -- but we don't have confirmation -- that your MULT error
arises from too many eValid's trying to launch and read the
evalid.lic file at the same time.

Can you try delaying the start of the simultaneous-eValid runs by
even 1000 msec (1 second?).

ALso, you could try the -S switch, which should suppress modal
popups during playback (but that won't suppress license failures).

Meanwhile, we are working on a special build for you that should
eliminate the problem; we'll contact you separately about this.
