Response Time

My goal would be to see the following information for each transaction:

1. Response time

2. Overall Availability (failed transactions vs. successful transactions)

3. Error Information

I can extract all of this information by parsing the eValid logs. The
error information (for alerting purposes) can be submitted to Zenoss via
its event processing system. That leaves me with items 1 and 2 from the
list.

My question would be: What is the recommended (and best) way to
view this information in Zenoss?

Thanks for posting

(1) The response time is easy: ResetTimer/ElapsedTime. Here is a page
that shows how this is done typically:

(2) The availablity number (percent) probably has to come from
Zenoss...each eValid transaction is freestanding, but would
report PASS/FAIL (OK/ERROR). You probably want the percent
of OK over the prior week...and that has to be from the Zenoss
database.

(3) The Zenoss guys have told me that grabbing the eValid data
is very easy...they are the best at showing you how to display
the information in their reports...
