What does "Script Error" mean in the EventLog? Why does my application stop working when that message appears?

What it means is that eValid has detected a JavaScript (or JScript or VBScript, or ECMAScript) error at playback time.

No, it doesn't mean there is an error in the eValid playback script. Every playback has a pre-playback script error check that advises you of any eValid script error.

The thinking is this: eValid is a QA/Testing engine and you are working with a web application, so eValid thinks it is the right thing to do to let you know that an internal JavaScript is present. You really will need to fix that!

Or not, if you wish. Your call.

But to fail to advise you would be a technical failure on eValid's part!
