Afternoon eValid. I've read on the forums and like to know:

Can you say why eValid is superior for monitoring AJAX applications?

Hey HenryD, thanks for asking your question.

The problem with AJAX applications is that they have, well, an
asynchronous nature.

After all, AJAX stands for "Asychronoous JavaScript and XML".

If you don't use a browser then your AJAX application can't work.

(If you try to test/monitor an AJAX app without using a browser you
are in for a lot of work because you have then to simulate what the
browser is doing as it dynamically interacts with the server. When
you're done you'll have built a browser with a JavaScript engine.
It's much easier to use an existing one than to build one just
for that purpose.)

But the real issue is synchronization...which eValid can do by
using built-in DOM-based synchronization commands.

Here is a completely worked example of testing the a complicated
SalesForce application:
