Explanation on how to how to make a script not fail

Postby MaggieS » Thu Sep 24, 2015 11:25 am

Afternoon.

Can you explain how you can make an eValid script as reliable as possible?

I mean, the script playback can NOT fail except if the web page is really broken.

By the way, this is for monitoring purposes.

Thanks.

We agree MaggieS, the best script for monitoring is one that only FAILs when something is seriously wrong -- that is, which tolerates a variety of non-important changes.

This is an important goal, and eValid offers many facilities that help you meet it.

Here is a write up that is an excellent starting point:

This is a special kind of challenge to us and it is one that our team has often taken on -- with 100% success so far.
