Hi there.

Have you got an easy example that shows how an eValid script extracts performance time?

I need help!

Thanks

Thanks for asking.

As you may know, monitoring is the same as running a regression test on a regular basis, with the goal being to alert the user when that test FAILs.

Here is a sample self-monitoring script that illustrates how this is done:

http://www.e-valid.com/Products/Documen ... cript.html

As you can see, the script uses several types of reporting capability, including writing a file that shows inter-step elapsed times.

In addition, there's an overtime alarm setting to provide the alert notification logic to provide for sending an email when the test FAILs.

Hope this answers your question.

Happy New Year!
