Sorry to hear that you're having trouble.
The main question for an eValid-based monitoring activity is whether or not the script requires use of the desktop.
If it doesn't then you probably don't have a problem because in that case the eValid playback will work OK even if you don't have a "head" on the computer at all.
That is, even if you are running entirely without use of a desktop by accessing eValid from command lines only.
But if you DO need the desktop, then sure enough, focus issues do pop up.
