Script commands not to be used during monitoring mode

Postby LBerger » Mon Sep 02, 2019 10:20 am

Good morning.

Can you tell are there any commands you should NOT use if a script is being put to use in monitoring mode?

Thanks

Thanks for posting your question LBerger.

If you have a dedicated machine, then all commands are OK.

However, if you want to run multiple monitoring scripts in parallel from one machine -- this is the usual case -- then you need to NOT include commands that involve use of the desktop.

The reason is, they are likely to interfere with each other.

Here is a description of "desktop mode" -- this mode uses the commands to NOT USE:

Also, you might also look at this manual page:

http://e-valid.com/Products/Documentati ... .mode.html

If you used either desktop mode or application mode then the scripts generated by eValid using either of those commands are the ones that require the desktop and are the ones that will cause you the most trouble.
