Hello.

I'm doing monitoring and my question is:

How do you get eValid to interact with Windows from the command line?

Thanks

Thanks for posting your question SamuelK.

There is a command line interface that will allow you to do any kind of "from the browser" playback entirely from the Windows OS level.

Here is the manual page:

This gets complex [most command line interfaces are complex, by their nature] but if you are mainly concerned with monitoring the areas to look at in particular are:

Profiles (to capture the correct eValid setup for your script)

Folder Usage (to make sure your tests' results don't interfere with other of your tests' results)

Cache Management (you need to make sure tests don't rely on cache or otherwise are mutually interfering).

Good luck and let us know if we can help.
