Can eValid overcome this Applet Problem

Postby Rafe08 » Mon Sep 01, 2008 5:40 pm

SOAP interfaces - You click on a link and a small java-based applet window
opens. Does eValid have any way of testing this? Recording doesn't do the trick.

http://www.soapui.org/jnlp/1.5/soapui.jnlp is one example. You'll need a
"project file" on your local machine to get the whole thing working. But
can eValid do something in the interface? Click file->import project or
something.

Applets are opaque to eValid in normal mode, but read on...

In addition to its ability to record/play/analyze web-faced applications,
eValid includes a capability to record non-browser applications, and
also desktop objects. Please see:

http://www.e-Valid.com/Products/Documen ... .mode.html

You can even use eValid to record desktop windows with the Record Desktop Window
option, as described here:

http://www.e-Valid.com/Products/Documen ... .mode.html

You ought to be fine with ANY kind of app that shows up in the browser
-- or even on the desktop -- with these.
