Login State

Postby User9999 » Mon Sep 15, 2008 10:27 am

QUESTION:

1) eValid Application gets hang many times and not responding when we
perform analysis of our website.

2) how can we perform the site analysis for authenticated web site where
'user name', 'password' and/or 'token code' is required?

Thanks for posting.

(1) Sometimes eValid is waiting for the web server to deliver
a page, or sometimes there is a popup/modal that needs to
be dismissed. Did you choose the setting that suppresses
popups?

(2a) First login to the site and then run your scan making
sure that you DO NOT VISIT any page that logs you out.

(2b) Record the login/password sequence, THEN issue the
SiteAnalysis command to continue the site analysis...
which will end with the normal method. Same rule, don't visit
any page that would log you out of or you'll break your scan.
