The way to think of eValid is as a universal RIA test agent that can generate the key data that shows how an RIA application behaves by running tests on a regular basis.
The data generated by eValid can be fed into any type of network or system monitoring solution.
To make eValid application as simple as possible, there are existing "template" interfaces available to Nagios, Groundwork Open Source, Hyperic, Zenoss, and several others. In addition we have heard from users who have connected eValid into ITM and Compuware's system, and maybe BMC's system, too.
The interfacing is made easy because eValid in monitoring mode runs from a scheduler based batch command, and the internal reporting of key data points makes it easy to construct "tiers of elapsed" so that the report reflects how long each stage of a complex test takes.
