It wouln't be apporpriate to name the companies -- in most cases their use of eValid is "private" and our identity is not necessarily revealed to the consumers of the monitoring data.
Two cases may be of interest.
One, an off-shore firm has been using eValid as the base for web application monitoring for over five years. They purchase eValid playbacks from us using an eValid Commercial License (which gives them the right to resell the
data the eValid work product -- that is the output timing and data volume measurement data) at a very low cost per test.
The other case is a firm here in the USA which uses a collection of eValid playback agents to monitor their own website, which is very large and complex. In their case, being that they are not re-selling the outputs, the regular eValid license applies. What's interesting about this firm is that at latest count they accomplish on the order of 5,000,000 eValid playback per month!
And, there are many other kinds of applications for monitoring ranging between these to extreme cases.
