How do you do site analysis on complex sites?

Thanks for your question

First, there is a big, 45 MB scan example, that we did a couple of weeks
ago that you can see at:

http://customers.e-valid.com/Customers/ ... ports.html

Please note that this is a 45 MB scan and when you navigate to
the page the top page should show up quickly, but the other
reports will take several minutes to download. It isn't necessary
to see this report; it is just an illustration of how eValid
scanned the http://www.mass.gov website searching ONLY for pages with
the sid=Elwd string in the URL.

For YOUR work, the eValid scan will do 100 pages or 500 links
and you can scan anything that the eValid browser can see...which
is pretty much any website out there.

To get eValid to focus on JUST a selected set of pages, you need
to look into the settings at "Search Links of Type" and choose
to "Search with Limitations". Then, you enter a string like
this:

htm, html, ?sid=Elwd

in the Limit by Extension/Query field. That is what we did
in the big scan -- the 45 MB one -- and even then we had to cut
it off after 2,535 pages.

Changing the required ?sid= value to something else gives you
a different scan...

Hope this helps.
