Hi.

I like to use the eValid do a Site Analysis/Mapping of only particular areas on my site.

My question is:

How to keep eValid site analysis from trying to map the entire web?

Thanks

Fair question GordanC.

The answer is that eValid only adds to its "to be examined list" those URLs that are part of the same domain.

That way, while the site analysis engine may visit many hundreds of URLs -- subject to the URL count and time limit constraints that might have been set by the user -- it will never attempt
to analyze URLs that are outside the area where the search has started.

Here is a summary of the "preferences" you can set to establish the limits of a search:

While this list might appear at first to be very complex, we have found that in practice you set up the criteria once and then use it over an over again.
