It turns out there is a very simple command that creates a script that, on playback, will visit only the links on that page.

The eValid feature is called a "Link Check Wizard" and here is the documentation pages:

Fair warning: These are for "anchor tag" links only.

The navigations that happen if you click on some JavaScript have to be treated with a playback that simulates the click on the specific COM element.
