Where does eValid do its site analysis? I mean, do you need permission to access my server or not?

There are a lot of ways to do site analysis, and most of them employ direct HTTP protocol downloads or use FTP transfers from the host machine.

eValid is different from ALL of the other products in this space because it uses an actual browser to retrieve the full-HTML from the web server, and then it uses the actual "over the wire" HTML as the basis for all of its calculations.

eValid can do a site analysis of any website it can browser. No special permissions are needed, no proxy setups are required, and FTP transfers are bever used. It's all done from your desktop, inside the eValid browser.
