Site Comparision

What I want to do is have a page of indicators (namely the number of
mentions each brand has in the online media per day) could we do
something similar with evalid reports say % broken links ?? or
could that back fire on me?

What do you folks think is a good metric?

The number of mentions in the media is easy to count (with a search)
and will vary day to day.

The broken link count changes slowly, but a weekly update might
be valuable. I'd also use the N1/N2/N3 sequence for the number
of pages one click (N1), two clicks (N2), or three clicks (N3)
away from the home page. The best sites do 10/100/1000
or 12/144/1728 combined with broken link percentage...then you
add in structure AND quality...
