How do I keep my scan from logging me off by visiting the "logoff" button?

Aha!

That is one of the most commonly reported problems...

But think about it for a second. You've asked eValid to visit all of the pages at and/or below your starting page and what do you think will happen if you visit the page that logs you out? Sure enough, you get logged out.

But not to worry, because the solution is simple.

All you need to do is add the URL for the "logout" page (or pages, if there are several different ones) to the "blocked URLs list." If you put a URL, or even a fragment (e.g. just the term "logout") in that list, then any URL that matches up with any item in that list will be NOT VISITED...so eValid will come to that point in the scan, find that it is NOT supposed to visit the logout page and will NOT visit it and there will NOT log you out.

Simple enough?
