Does eValid have a step function for used in load generating

Use and application of the eValid server loading (LoadTest) capability. And in the cloud computing context for monitoring and loading.

Does eValid have a step function for used in load generating

Good morning.

Do you have a way of simulating a "step function" with eValid as a load generator?

Thanks

Thanks for inquiring about this JamesDR.

The basic problem here is obtaining simultaneity when all of the test start.

Here is an illustration of one way to that:

This method uses a SyncOnText command running in all of the deployed eValid browser instances.

Once you change the value then every script will start up on the next execution cycle of the "SyncOn..." command.

That interval is in the settings.

Cautionary note: This method of creating simultaneity may not be the SAME kind of simultaneity that you read about in quantum physics, due to
the non-simultaneous nature of computer processes.

That is a very complex topic for which the explanation is too long to fit on this page

Please contact us if you like further assistance on this.
