Virtual Users

Use and application of the eValid server loading (LoadTest) capability. And in the cloud computing context for monitoring and loading.

Virtual Users

A fast question, how many "Virtual Users" of eValid can be generated by
a single computer (for example a: 2Ghz Centrino Duo, 2Gb Ram)?

Thanks for writing.

As I think I mentioned, eValid doesn't have "Virtual Users" per se, but
instead delivers full-fidelty playbacks in LoadTest mode using multiple
instances of the eValid browser.

With 2GB RAM probably you can plan on 200 full-fidelity playbacks
in parallel.

However, eValid ALSO includes a special load testing support utility
called eVlite, which reads eValid scripts and generates non-coherent
HTTP/s activity much like systems that have "virtual users."

See the details about eVlite at:

http://www.e-Valid.com/Products/Documen ... vlite.html

Here is the special server loading price list that extends the
regular Server Loading Bundle to either a multiple set of 1-week
IUKs or continuous multi-machine playbacks:

Does this give you enuf data?
