Help with starting 2500 users at the same time.

Hi, I'm a new user to eValid.

I've brought this tool to my team while in the trial phase
and one of my team members was wondering:

If I want to have 2,500 users all start their playback at the
same time, how do I do that?

Thanks

hi VivianW. Thanks for posting.

We are glad you are telling your team about eValid!

The key on this is to make sure all 2,500 playbacks are all
waiting to start on the SAME SIGNAL.

Like in football, of someone starts off too early it is an
"off sides" penalty.

eValid supports simultaneous start with the WaitMod commands.

If you want your tests all to start at 18 minutes past 9:00 AM
then you include this sequence in your secript:

WaitModHH 9
WaitModMM 18

evalid will wait, first, until the hour is 9 (AM), and then wait
until the minutes is 18. 9:18.

After that, subject to the speed of your CPU, every eValid that
is waiting for the second event will start up right away.

We've done this before and you can get all of them running with
about a 1 second interval.
