Can eValid overcome what WebDriver fails during a loadtest

Use and application of the eValid server loading (LoadTest) capability. And in the cloud computing context for monitoring and loading.

Can eValid overcome what WebDriver fails during a loadtest

Postby WillSage » Tue Mar 22, 2016 8:56 am

Morning.

I am having trouble using WebDriver grid to run 250 tests because there is some kind of problem binding with the executable.

Does eValid have that kind of issue?

Thanks

Thanks for asking WillSage.

eValid should not have such issues.

When you launch and eValid LoadTest script (indicated by its suffix *.evl) you would either do that within in the eValid browser or via a system call from a command line prompt.

From the eValid browser face, here are the settings that may affect how the scenario runs:

When you have a LoadTest script -- one that ends in *evl -- loaded up all you do is click Play and the scenario will launch multiple sub-browsers all correctly associated with the required scripts.

From the command line, there is a special command line call specifically oriented to use in LoadTest scenario applications, described here:

http://www.e-valid.com/Products/Documen ... l#LoadTest

That same page shows you all of the OTHER command line options that may be used during command-line driven loading experiments.

Hope this is helpful!
