Server Loading for a mobile website

Hi.

Do you have a simple explanation of how eValid is used in server loading work?

I'm working to fine-tune a mobile website, if that helps narrow down the specifics.

Thanks for posting EdPeck.

Here is a description of test we ran using eValid on a mobile application.

The main thing we did is impose a load of increasing number of mobile devices all repetitively driving the device to the same web page.

Then we watched the internal response times to see where the performance began to drop off.

The chart on the page makes it pretty clear that for that web page and on that particular server, the outbound capacity was saturated at about 150 simultaneous users.

One word of caution: That 150 users probably represents the heaviest level you could imagine for the server.

That's because these tests were aimed at saturating the server and it did that by running the test playback script in high-speed mode ... trying to push the server as fast as possible.
