eValid compared to grid driver based testing tool

Use and application of the eValid server loading (LoadTest) capability. And in the cloud computing context for monitoring and loading.

eValid compared to grid driver based testing tool

Hello.

The eValid solution is pretty cool, but how do you compare with the so-called "grid" drivers that I keep reading about.

Thanks

Great question thanks for asking VNoland.

The basic idea of eValid in server loading remains the same:

Run many independent browsers in parallel to generate realistic load on the server.

And, possibly. collect detailed information about each playback so see if you can discover performance issues.

eValid does this work with multiple instances of eValid on one or more machines.

Here is a general overview with some advisory commends about eValid LoadTest runs:

We don't see a difference in terms of the effect you get between running multiple eValid copies on one machine or using multiple machines in a grid architecture to apply load through multiple instances.

That is just a different way of accomplishing the same thing.

It is worth emphasizing that the MAIN advantage of full-browser playbacks, regardless of how you generate those executions, is the reality of the load simulation.
