Delayed latency during an eValid LoadTest session

Use and application of the eValid server loading (LoadTest) capability. And in the cloud computing context for monitoring and loading.

Delayed latency during an eValid LoadTest session

Hello.

In LoadTest mode, what are some of the issues of latency delay?

Thanks

Thanks for asking about the eValid LoadTest question.

In the web architecture there are many, many latencies.

In the LoadTest context, we guess that you mean the delay between the server (or servers) and the measuring client (or clients).

We suggest that you first review this general description of how eValid thinks about loading:

We also suggest that you ask this main question: Are you concerned about the speed of the server, or the speed of the internet?

This is a critical question because eValid can do little to shed light on the speed of the internet, that is, how quickly packets are sent through the internet from your server(s) to your clients(s).

As the material in the manual page suggest, eValid is better suited to tuning up your server (and your web pages) than it is to perfecting your internet connection.
