Yes, eValid works with VS2010.

But "works with" is a much more complicated statement than it seems, in part because VS2010 is such a complete departure from where eValid operates, in particular regarding web browser enabled application testing.

Interoperability is assured at one level because both VS2010 and eValid are Windows based systems. eValid can record and play VS2010 operations with no difficulty, but the reverse does not appear to be true. There are eValid tests that manipulate DOM structures -- e.g. the SyncOnText actions you can record from the eValid GUI face --- that are not possible in VS2010.

A script created in VS2010 can be converted automatically into an eValid script (with some special tricks), and the another main eValid advantage accrues: scalability. VS2010 tests are limited to singleton -- foreground only. eValid tests replicate on the desktop to 100's or 1,000's of browser users -- this is a very important advantage for server loading work.

But these are only a few of the differences. Please contact us with specific questions and we'll do our best to identify the correct data for you.
