Strings in Loading

Use and application of the eValid server loading (LoadTest) capability. And in the cloud computing context for monitoring and loading.

Strings in Loading

Postby aaike » Fri Dec 26, 2008 5:06 pm

Hi

The script I wrote is working.

The second stage of our testing involves testing a 2nd level
authorization. Basically, instead of just 1 password, the user will
have to enter 2 passwords in 2 separate fields.

Will load testing be possible also with 2 passwords per user?

Thanks

Glad to hear that your script is working as expected. Good work!

Actually, the script that you will need to handle two passwords
would be a simple extension.

You'll have three parameters, $ACCT, $PASS1, and $PASS2 in the script.

You simply add additional value assigning items like this:

$ACCT=test $PASS1=hello $PASS2=world

This will assign three values to the script.

In fact, you have no limit on the number of different parameters you
can assign into a script.

* The eValid string substitution facility -- used in both functional
testing AND in server load creation -- is described here:
