Waits

Use and application of the eValid server loading (LoadTest) capability. And in the cloud computing context for monitoring and loading.

Waits

Hi

I'm currently evaluating your tool for my company's load testing needs.

Using the GUI record puts loads of Wait statements in the script. I'd like to
know if there is an option to wait for a particular element to load before
moving on to the next step?

Thanks.

The Waits are the result of "real time recording" and reflect the
inter-event times you took during the recording.

FYI, you can multiple these by any number, including 0, if you wish.

But I sense that you realize that synchronizing based on Waits
is not a reliable method, and we agree.

* eValid has special commands that can be used to achieve playback
synchronization based on internal properties of pages, a capability
that is essential in certain AJAX implementations:

You can use the PageMap to see what you need about the page:

* The eValid PageMap facility -- which reveals the contents of the
current page eValid is showing you -- gives you a direct look into
the document object model (DOM) of the page. Here's how to use it:

Hope this answer your needs?
