Yes.
The interaction between a mobile browser and a non-mobile (desktop) browser can be simulated with eValid by use of the
SetUserAgent command.
That command, given the correct user agent string data for the mobile browser that you want to test, will set eValid to imitate being that type of browser. That is, it reports to the server that it is the specified browser type and the server will respond accordingly.
We have found (please see recent BLOG articles) that eValid rendering of the
resulting HTML sent to the browser is very good, but we don't recommend eValid used in this way to confirm rendering accuracy or other "asthetics" about how a page shows on a mobile device.
Functionally, the server can't tell the difference, so tests you do this way are 100% realistic in terms of functionality.
