Why does eValid work so well when pretending to be a mobile client?

The answer to eValid's excellent result when imitating a mobile device probably has to do with the quality of the IE rendering engine (the Trident Rendering Engine), which is top class all the way.

Remember, the HTML send to the browser from the server, when it thinks it is delivering material to a mobil browser, is still HTML and eValid will read it and render it as best it can. You may see minor visual changes but the functional behavior of mobile applications appears to be normal as far as we can tell.
