Yes, the user agent string can be used to set up eValid to imitate any type of browser, including a mobile one, for any kind of playback you want.
That includes functional, regression, monitoring and server loading tests.
You can even set up eValid site analysis runs to operate as if it was running from a mobile device if you wish. We've done this and sometimes the results compared with running in normal desktop mode are quite different.
