Reading the dom for a specific value of a property

Postby GeraldM » Mon Apr 29, 2024 12:28 pm

Greetings

Can eValid read a page's DOM and confirm a specific property has a specific value??

Please explain how I could do this.

Thanks

Thanks for asking about that, GeraldM.

The workhorse command you use here is this one:

http://e-valid.com/Products/Documentati ... perty.html

So, you have to know the name of the property AND the value you want to validate, and so long as you have the other details in had you should have no trouble.

You can get the window ID and the required DOM index value from the DOM viewer, which eValid calls the PageMap, described here:

http://e-valid.com/Products/Documentati ... neral.html
