Why don't you automate the creation of AJAX synchronization
logic so I don't have to work as hard editing my script
"after the fact"?

Hey JeffreyS, thanks for posting on the forum.

It turns out that eValid DOES provide a "from the GUI" method
for making reliable AJAX scripts.

The key to doing this is to recognize that what you need to
be doing with an AJAX application is making a recording that
already includes the auxiliary synchronization that AJAX needs.

The main command for this is the SyncOnText command which is
generated by eValid using the pulldown sequence:
Record > Validate > & Synchronize > Visible Text.

What this does is put a SyncOnText command into your script.

Our experience is that 99.99% of the time your AJAX application
will run perfectly reliably with this extra sync step.

Here is an outline of a simplified approach for stabilizing an AJAX
playback by recording text-item synchronization steps:
