If you mean AJAX monitoring, them the PAGEMAP feature is
required for all of the DOM analysis functionality, which normally
is ncessary for processing AJAX applications reliably.
Without the AJAX/PAGEMAP features you probably will de-sync on
pages that required DOM-augmented synchronization.
While the PAGEMAP feature is not necessary, if the customer has
or is contemplating AJAX applications that need monitoring then
the PAGEMAP/AJAX version is appropriate.
Most of our customers now are purchasing the AJAX option...it
is minimally more expensive, and VERY much more powerful.
We are recommending the AJAX version to everyone.
Purely necessary? No if you have to be as inexpensive as possible,
but Yes if you want to monitor something complex.
