A CAPTCHA passage is an attempt to authenticate that a user is human by asking for a pattern recognition from a complex image. Humans do this easily; machines have a great deal of trouble with it.
The purpose of a CAPTCHA is, therefore, to defeat attempts to mechanize or automate manipulation of the website. Usually you're concerned about robots achieving login and then causing havoc once "in."
So, sorry to have to admit it, but solving a CAPTCHA is not something that you are going to have much luck in testing automatically.
