Does every command eValid record play a part in playback? If something in the recording "doesn't matter" how can I find out?

Very good question?

As far as we know eValid's intention is to record the least possible number of commands necesary to reproduce the desired behavior. If it isn't going to be necessary, then eValid doesn't clutter up the script file with it.

But, at playback time yes, some things don't make a difference at all.

Here are two examples.

(1) If the recording has Wait commands and you've set your Wait Time Multipler parameter to 0, then those Wait commands are ignored.

(2) If you have made your recording with Record Mouseovers set to ON then you may see a lot of activity in the recording -- which often is very valuable in perfecting a script -- and that activity will be reproduced in the playback, but a mouseover very seldom has much effect.
